THE ARTIST

Visual artist by day, cosplayer by night. I've always loved art and spent most of my life exploring different media, never satisfied with just one thing. Although my BFA degree is in Drawing and Painting, I've always loved illustration, pixel art, typography, sculpting, calligraphy, and writing. Growing up, I knew I wasn't cut out for anything other than art, so I immersed myself in it.

In 2008 I got into cosplay and costume making. Having no background in sewing, I started from the ground up and taught myself everything from hems to armor to wings and everything in between. Making costumes was fun, but competition was even more exciting! Along with friends, we competed as Titanesque Cosplay and performed skits over the years, merging our love of acting and dedication to costuming together.

Besides being an artist, I'm a rabbit owner and Texas' #1 Dr Pepper drinker. I like symphonic metal music, hot wings, and collecting The Crow and Beauty and the Beast memorabilia.
